Russia's invasion to Ukraine in February 2022 led to widespread destruction and loss of life. Despite the strong resistance from Ukraine, supported by military and humanitarian aid from Western nations, the war has created a humanitarian crisis, displacing million of people and leading to global economic and geopolitical instability. Despite ongoing efforts for peace talks, the conflict continues with no immediate resolution in sight. In March 2022, shortly after the outbreak of the war, Ziv Koren has set out on a mission of documenting Europe’s biggest armed conflict since World War II.
