The IDF Home Front Command has the professional military responsibility for the home front in the State of Israel. The Home Front Command focuses on number main threats that can affect the Israeli populations: Conventional (Long-Range Rockets, Mortars and Qassam Rockets), Unconventional (Chemical Weapons and Biological Warfare), Terrorism, Natural disasters (Fire, Floods and Earthquake) Industries and Hazmat (Radioactive leaks and Industry and Hazardous Materials).
